CSC Run for Fitness 2025

In this winter season, multiple runs are organised in the same event. It is very difficult to choose where to go. On 23rd November 2025, there were two runs. CSC Run and GST Mini Marathon. I have chosen CSE Run for multiple reasons. 1. Location – It is happening near Babughat. The location and route were new for me. I participated in multiple runs, which happened in Saltlake area. 2. Medel design is very nice. The middle piece is actually rotating. Very unique.

The BIB Expo was on 22nd November in the CSC (Calcutta Swimming Club). I collected the BIB and T-Shirt. There was a goddie bag filled with Dairy Milk Bites and a pack of Frooti.

On the race day, I woke up at 4:30. The race was planned to start at 6:00. The weather was a bit cold. I reached the venue at 5:55. The cab dropped me 500 meters back. The road is closed. I jog from there. I was unable to join the warm-up session. The race has started. I somehow managed to join the wave.

The route was very nice. Chilled weather. Fog everywhere. Hundreds of people running wearing black T-shirts. I registered for 3 miles that approximates 4.7 km. There were enough hydration points on the route.

After the race received the medal. The medal is very unique. The middle piece can be rotated. The after-run breakfast was awesome. There were multiple options and a lot of food. I don’t like sandwitch which is a general breakfast of any run, but here a lot of other good foods were available. I have taken some of my favourites like dhokla, upma, idli, sambar, egg, banana, etc. The morning was well spent.
