Sri Satya Sai Unity Run 2025

On 31st August 2025 I have experienced a very unique running experience. The run is organised by Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisation. It was beautifully organised and completely free.

BIB and t-shirt (2) was distributed one day before from Saltlake Decathlon. The quality of the tshirts are moderate. There was 3, 4, 10 KM run and Cycle ride as well. After collecting the BIB I came back home and had severe headache. Generally I avoid taking medicine for small problems but this time I had Paracetamol 650 as I have run on next day and slept.

On the run day I woke up at 4:30 AM. The body is fresh, no headache. The event is at Stadle, Saltlake Stadium. I took an Uber and started from my home at 5:15. Reached venue at 5:50. The 10 KM run started at 6. There was Zumba session followed by 5KM run at 6:15. The event was very nicely organised. Lots of volenteer was there in the venue as well as route. The route is on saltlake roads.

After completion of run, received a very nice medel. A 7very nice breakfast has been given. Upma, Banana, cupcake, juice. I generally avoid packaged and sweet. I had upma and banana. There was lot of participants. It was a very nice experience. A Sunday morning well spent.
